Charitable Outreach

The Team Seymour Spouses Club is proud to contribute to various base, local community, national charities and non-profit organizations that support our troops and the local and military community. Organizations interested in requesting a donation from the TSSC should complete and submit a Charitable Grant Request form via the link below. The TSSC raises the majority of our charitable funds through sales at the Thrift Shop here at Seymour Johnson AFB.

Charitable Grant Request Form

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN SUBMITTING:

Please prioritize your needs; if you have urgent needs then please put those items at the top of your list. This allows us to fund parts of a request if we cannot fund the entire request.

Grants are approved or denied based on how they align with the purpose of the TSSC as outlined in the TSSC constitution. The purpose of the TSSC shall be to develop, organize and sponsor educational, charitable and social activities. The goal is to disseminate information of interest and value to its members and to foster, protect and preserve the ideals of charity, benevolence and good fellowship in keeping with the ideals of the United States Armed Forces.

Funds cannot be granted to individuals. All disbursements will be made payable to the requesting organization.

Please consider the time it takes for our board to discuss and decide on a request. Your request must be submitted by the last Wednesday of the month in order for us to review it at our monthly governing board meeting; held on the first Monday of the month (with the exception of Holidays). If you submit a request after the last Wednesday it will be reviewed at the following month's meeting.

We WILL NOT review requests during the months of June and July. Any requests received during this time will be held and reviewed at our August Board Meeting.
